Inspire Drone League: Liftoff
Any drone may be used to compete in IDL races. Drone building is a key part of the tournament. Drone blueprints from the Steam Workshop may be used.
Note: this does not apply to all tournament. Some tournaments will require a set blueprint drone to be used.

Race procedures will be posted in the IDL Discord channel prior to each event. Before participating in an event please ensure that you are registered and verified on https://electronicsport.africa/.
At the start of each month the track and race will be shared via the IDL Discord channel. Participants are allowed to download the track and race ahead of the tournament races to practice and familiarise themselves. Note that the tracks and races may change before the race itself.
Races will be scheduled each month from the start of the 3rd week. Please see IDL Discord channel for more information regarding these time slots. Racing sessions will run for 2 hours. During this time, participants may complete as many laps as they desire to try and set the best times possible.

Information regarding the race times may be entered onto the tournament page at any stage within the tournaments’ duration. Each racer is permitted to enter a maximum of 3 times during this time. The average of these three times will be used for the racers standing.
Verification of Times
All race times submitted must be accompanied with a screenshot of the race time. These screenshots must show the race time at the results page and must display the name of an IDL Administrator.
No griefing or abuse will be tolerated on any channel of communication used in IDL. Breaching these rules will result in a warning followed by a temporary ban. Repeated misconduct will result in a permanent ban from IDL.
