The HSESL Valorant :Winter assault Tournament Details

  Registration will end on Sunday 11September 23:59 with the cup beginning on Tuesday 13 September 08:00.

  All communications for the cup will run through Discord. Should you have any queries, submit your query on Discord and one of the ESA admins will get back to you as soon as possible. Checking in will be done 15 minutes prior to each round. All check-ins will be handled on Discord.

  Game procedure and settings

• Game mode: Plant &  Defuse (Standard mode)
•     Fielded players: 5vs5
  In case of issues, the minimum Players allowed to be fielded is 4v5 or 4v4.
•  Official Game Length: Gameplay will continue until there is a winner as below
•  Victory Conditions:
  •   Eliminations consist of 1 map (Best of one- Bo1).
    The Finals will consist 3 maps (Best of Three Bo3) The team who wins the majority of the three games wins the match.
    A draw is not possible, if teams draw a map (12 round wins each) they must play overtime. (Please see below for overtime rules)
    A map consists of 24 rounds. 12 rounds per half. The match is won when one team holds the majority of the rounds attainable (13). A map draw occurs when each team holds half of the attainable rounds (12 rounds each).
•   Team Rosters:
  •     Players per team: 5
  •     Reserves per team: Recommended 1 to 3
  •     Fielded players: 5vs5
  •     In case of issues, the minimum Players allowed to be fielded is 4v5 or 4v4.
•     Maps:
  •     Blind
  •     Haven
  •     Split
  •     Ascent
  •     Icebox
  •     Breeze
  •     Fracture
•     Side and Map Selection
  •     Note: The team located on the left or top of the respective match page will begin the process (Team A in the example below).
  •     The same map cannot be played twice in the same match. Once a map is selected or removed it cannot be reused.
  •     Best of one Games:
    •     Team A removes one map.
    •     Team B removes one map.
    • .    Team A picks one map. Team B picks Sides.
  • .    Best of 3 Games: 
    •     Team A removes a map.
    •     Team B removes map 1.
    •     Team A picks one map. Team B picks sides
    •     Team B picks one map. Team A picks Sides
    •     If needed Map 3 (Coin Toss):
    •     the two Team Captains must return to the relevant Discord server channel to conduct the automated coin-toss.
    •     Team A is heads.
    •     Team B is tails.
    •     Use the !flip chat command to conduct the coin toss.
    •     The winner of the coin toss can pick the map from the remaining selection of maps. The loser of the coin toss will select the side to start the third map on.
